Forcing everybody away from NatGas won't help much either. EVs are a dead end.
Elon needs to dump Tesla. I think he knows that.

I bought an electric lawn tractor, Ryobi RM480e (RY48110) several years ago as a test.

At 72 hours (2 years) the $1,000 battery pack (a couple years ago, probably a lot more now) was about shot, then the unit went completely Tango-Uniform (tits-up). A three or four hundred dollar drive motor controller/ECM got it driving, but the two motors on the deck won't start, two more motor controllers (master/slave) will be required to fix that. I don't want to fuck with it anymore. If I can't fix it, I doubt anybody can.
I thought if I could get it going, I could find a cheaper alternative to the factory 75/100 A/H batteries, but Bidet has everything so fucked up there's no such thing as a cheap SLA battery anymore.
That's too bad. When the thing worked, it was great. Now it's 800+ pounds of hazardous scrap. I can't even get anybody to take it for free.
