With free market crypto, no such restrictions are possible, and tracking transactions can be made very difficult, especially with cryptos designed for privacy.

I seldom talk on my cell.

1. My kooky neighbor that thinks he's Satan has a cell jammer, just to be an asshole. Verizon doesn't seem too interested in doing anything about it, so my phone is about useless for voice at home. I should call Verizon again, but I don't care that much.

2. Very few people call me. Usually it's via SMS text, which doesn't seem to be affected. If someone calls me and the call is lost, I call them back on my home phone. Happened to me and Dakmar a few weeks ago.

I don't even have a land line. Haven't for about the last 6 years. Of course living in a country where you don't have much grip on the language kinda factors in.

I'm about the last English speaker in my hood. I do have gunrunning, drug trafficking (bale and duffle bag quantity) and what sure looks like child trafficking going on.

My hubby was a real estate agent and handled the phone calls for our rentals. Hours on the phone. He died of a brain tumor that started on the side he held his cell phone.

I think though the earliest cell phones were far worse today's phones, putting out far more power. Still don't like the things though.

As a retired physician who lived and worked in other human's personal space for 40 years, I am now near totally antisocial. Retired! As a result, there are times I shut my cell phone off for 7 to 10 days and I have no landline. I am always surprised how many people have an emotional meltdown over this.
