It's one thing to not get involved in international conflicts like Russia & Ukraine, but quite another to be completely involved with it and promoting it, which our gov does.

My feelings about Taiwan are quite different than with Ukraine. Taiwan isn't persecuting mainland Chinese living on the island. There is no civil war between mainland sympathizers and the pro-west Taiwanese. And China absolutely does have a full desire to dominate the world AND has the economic & military strength to actually try to do it. Capturing Taiwan's industry and wealth would boost that potential.

To be fair, all that separates me personally from that risk of a Chinese world empire is a single ocean. And Chinese economic tentacles are already here.
