I remember when women thought she was empowered, and adored her. Then the "Progressives" told women they had to hate her, white supremacy something or other, I guess they had to ignore the fact that she is Jewish.

...I am not ever going to stop making fun of power and its arrogance, and I don’t give a f*** what color it is. I’ll be there. Make the most f***ing fun of it that I can before I croak,” she concluded.

Not trying to be defeatist, but she will never get a top billed network TeeVee show ever again. She took on The Powers, and The Powers let her have it right in the gut.

To be honest, I always thought her 1990's show a bit crass, but not everyone is like me, so I got why it was popular, and I respect her for putting it together.

Documentaries about Henry Ford just weren't drawing viewers back then. :)

Which brings me to my next point:

Do you know why major league hockey wants more diversity?

Advertisers!

Advertisers are sick and tired on spending money on people who are too smart to spend $800 on a pair of sneakers, they want morons that will spend $800 on a pair of sneakers, regardless of where they get the $800.

Were hockey and soccer dependent on non-fans like me, they'd be outta business next week.

Only time I ever went to NFL game was because my uncle had extra ticket. I would have said No to NBA game. I used to watch football on TV once in a while, never could stand basketball, to squeaky! :)

How could anyone enjoy basketball after seeing all of those negative images associated with the sport?

Never mind that those images are completely unrelated, and were put there by a freaky punk band, the link has been made! If you watch basketball on TV, or buy NBA tickets, you support nazis and werewolfs and the like.

Wow, have I just become a progessive? :)

To me, basketball died when Larry Bird and Earvin Johnson retired. The dream team in Barcelona was a fitting farewell.

Right there with you, bro. I'll see your hockey and soccer, and raise you every other sport. I wouldn't cross the road to meet any athlete -- or any other entertainer. (When I was fourteen I would have crossed the road -- and maybe swam a river or two -- to meet Farrah Fawcett, but I'm not fourteen any more.)
