I can recall my Mom having a spell at home in Chicago back in late 70s. I carried her out to the car and drove 20 miles to Evanston hospital where she would get dialysis treatments.

The poor woman would not take care of herself and watch her blood pressure and that got her kidneys.

Complications from kidney disease is what killed her. :-/
