I'm thinking of going for this puter deal:
Condition is "Used, start up and boot to bios no further testing was done" -- can I assume they're ready to boot to Windows?

Though if it were me, I wouldn't care, as I'd put linux on it myself.

That does protect against crashed drives, yes, which is quite good. Though sometimes operating systems just need to be completely purged and reset.
Yes, computer stuff continues to get easier to deal with.

4GB of RAM won't run much. Also, heed the reviews, suspect site.
For that money at microcenter.com you'll get a lot more for that price.
Search on laptops and sorry by price. They are some nice Dells and a HP with 8 & 16 GB of RAM for between $249 and $279 that will definitely accommodate Windows 10 & 11 if you want it. Not sure what they're installed with.

Seller's got 98.5% positive ratings. Are you referring to Ebay?

The PC. 4GB RAM is antiquated, I'm surprised that it ruins anything but the basics.
You can get MUCH more laptop for the same money.

My point was that I wouldn't even consider buying one with only 4 GBs of RAM. Especially since for the same price or so you can get one with 8 or 16 GBs of RAM.
