Sounds like a version of Sun Tzu's "The Art Of War" which portrays deception is a major element in war waging, and I have no doubt whatsoever that Putin has read that book at least once and probably 2-3 times.

We'll see what happens, but MSM is hiring retired officers for their takes on the Ukraine war, and they will choose those that say things the hiring news outlet wants their viewers to hear. That's why MSM never takes Douglass MacGregor who is not afraid to say what things "bad players" like Russia and Nazi Germany did right.
