The money supply increased by $6 Trillion a couple of years ago. I can imagine it has been going up since the FED is being forced to buy up the short term Notes being sold into Secondary markets by China and Brazil.

If they ever miss a buy, all those chickens will come home to roost. Inflation here might be as bad as in Weimar Germany where you needed a wheelbarrow full of German Marks to buy a loaf of bread. ;)
