I'd say a huge fire could radiate enough heat to burn the car up, even from a distance if it surrounds the car and the car itself has fuel in it. There was plenty of air as the wins were whipping some 60 MPH. That's not necessarily the explanation but it can't be ruled out so easily.

I noticed the spare tire was missing, if that's any clue.

Could have been abandoned before the wildfire. Hell, maybe even burned before the wildfire. Why was it even parked there? No buildings around, it seems.
