I thought it would go with an apocalyptic kinda thing, as "Death is everywhere" does not bring to mind roses and whipped cream. Plus the song is from the mid eighties when this sort of thing was certainly on the cards.

I shot all the video myself, and combined it with a few royalty-free images as set extensions, using adobe after effects, I liked the idea of having real buildings in the foreground, and this is a first attempt using AF.

I do not own any rights to the song, which is performed by the GREAT Depeche Mode, and was released on Mute records in 1986,featuring on, in my opinion, the best DM album "Black Celebration" and was also released a few months earlier on the B side to "It's called a heart" although that was a different version...This is the album version.

(Edit) That shot from a bridge looking down an empty street (about 1:22) with the street lights on really triggers my PTSD. I swear I was there, but I can't remember.

My flyin' days were over in the blink of an eye ten years ago when some old lady was busy texting one of her grandkids rather than driving...

I got $20k for a lifetime of pain. My hospital bills exhausted her coverage the first night.

Sleazebag shyster Blackburn wanted to take the old lady's house in the Meadow Ghetto New Haven. It would've cost me more to tear the house down than the property was worth, but the shitbag would've taken his cut off the top, it would've cost me money in the long run. I felt sorry for the old lady. She probably lived her remaining years in fear of the other shoe dropping before I said, "ENOUGH! THIS ENDS NOW! Over." Funny thing, I've never been mad at the old gal. Never saw her either. It was a very sanitary procedure.

I thought I might've been in Germany when she was hot, but in 1983 I was in the Middle East, I wish I would've been in Germany, but I think that's about the time the Able-Archer83 catastrophe happened that about triggered a nuclear war had it not been for a cool-headed Rooskie Col. The truth about didn't get sorted out until years later. Look up Able Archer 83.

Wow, I think Boston might've been before I had girl friends. I had my buddy Craig and his older sister Karen, his younger sister Kim was a fat bitch. Karen died of cancer a lifetime ago, I'm sure Craig is long gone. I was the best man at his wedding, probably in the late 70s. I was just a kid. Karen could sure kiss fellas younger than her.

This what the flight looked like to your wedding a thousand year ago before TSA. I remember the stewardess reprimanding Skillethead (cheesedick engineer with Raytheon) for cracking booze before the plane took off. I wanted to slap his ass. He held one of those bottles above his head and cracked it like it was a frat party.

I had a hundred or more of those little bottles in my Pro Keds carry on bag. I was allowed to carry a firearm on a flight back then, but I didn't.

Of course soon after Paul would be killed in a Car accident and the record companies could not bear to lose out on that revenue stream. So we get Paul McCartney Number Two instead of telling the truth.

Paul McCartney was replaced by a look alike. We all know it. The band broke up over it. John Lennon was murdered to keep that secret.

George Harrison and Ringo Starr were quiet because they did not want to end up like John did.

Of course George got cancer, like Frank Zappa did, and Ringo, how that fucker is still alive is beyond me.

I'm sure she'll appreciate the sentiment, Dak. I'll pass it along when she wakes up. Sorry I missed the party, but Doc had other plans for me last night. She was on a mission to find a place for us to dance. It looks like that's not a "thing" much anymore, whereas sitting around looking at your phone seems to be all the rage. Neither is smoking in FW bars, I guess I'd forgotten that. Maybe that's why I quit going years ago. We'll have to go to New Haven or the Hook & Ladder in Waynedale for that. The way things seem to be shaking out, it's looking like Saturday night and Sunday are about the only time we're going to have any free time together.

I would hate to see him shot on a lonely street like a common criminal.

Apparently Reebok doesn't want me dying from smoking. I guess my addiction is going to find an ally in little Pacman, in the battle against my heart over its fears about her clot shots. I don't suppose anybody is going to win that fight.
