The fact that after Disney raised their licensing fees, and Hasbro, who bought out Kenner, has most of their licenses with Hasbro, who in turn had to raise prices to keep up with the new licensing that Disney more or less wants returned to them so that they can use their in house producers who will work for much less.
Hasbro more or less is seeing the unseen hand at work. Had Disney not bought up the Star Wars franchise, Hasbro likely would not be feeling the pinch. Had they also not made the 40 and 50 year old toy collector their market, capitalizing on nostalgia, they might not be firing 20 percent of their likely management and freelancers.
But hey, Bidenomics, Am I right???
