I did an electronic renewal of my UCC filing and entered UCC Contract Account as collateral and it hyperlinked. What does this tell you? That the account is real.

I sent an Assignment of Account to the State Department of Revenue by Certified Mail w/Return Receipt. They sent me the tax bill again.

I wrote back to them ON THEIR TAX BILL, "THE ASSIGNMENT OF ACCOUNT IS THE PAYMENT OF THE TAX. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO ZERO THE ACCOUNT. FAILURE TO ZERO THE ACCOUNT MAY LEAD TO A DEFAULT JUDGMENT AGAINST THE DIRECTOR OF REVENUE."

Guess what happened next. The state tax bill disappeared. ;)
