The internet has been left bitterly divided after a podcast guest claimed that men who make under $50,000 a year should not go on dates.
Talitha Troupe, from Atlanta, appeared on a recent episode of the Pour Minds podcast alongside cohosts Andrea and Lex P – who do not disclose their last names.
The dating strategist had been discussing her personal standards when it comes to getting courted – before dropping the salary stipulation bombshell.
It sparked fierce debate in the comments as one person slammed Talitha’s viewpoint as being ‘sad and problematic on so many levels.’

We were working a concert at the Pavilion which was a rec hall for Circle Campus on the near west side of Chicago along I-90.
I had this black kid as a partner. I said to him, "These guys behind us might try to jump. If one does, I'll get him. You watch and make sure nobody follows."
I no sooner got the words out of my mouuth and one guy jumped the rail. I tackled him. One of the guys behind the barricade came out and grabbed him by the hair and picked him up and threw him against the barricade. Then I cuffed him. We were walking him behind the stage to throw him out and the other guy was complaining about my partner. I told him, "Don't worry about my partner. He was doing what I told him to do"
Then the kid says, "Dude, my pants are down!" I looked and I was laughing. He had a little pecker. So I pulled up his pants and we went to the back door and took his ticket and threw him out. LOL
