An extra 2 million Americans took early retirement. (This is my reconstruction of a Zero Hedge Premium piece.)
Lots of Americans are retiring early at age 62. One reason is the stock market. Another is they sold real estate.

I did exactly that. I never thought that I'd live this long. It had nothing to do with Covid, I wanted to recover some of my money before the LGBTQAI+ freakshow sent it all to Ukraine. I'm a moderately high-net worth individual, but don't have a big cash position. I need the extra money to pay my bills which have doubled with Bidet's inflation.
The stock market has done well, it followed the inflation right up. I can't afford to sell any equities, the capital gains taxes would eat me alive. I have an appointment with my tax babe, Christa this Friday. I'm scared to death. Everybody's telling me that Bidet's tax increases are going to be painful. Starting my SS retirement doubled my ObamaCare payments.
