It is not that they have a choice. It is that if they attend school or even if they are seen in public people will ask question and the traffickers will be arrested. That is not something I followed so I didn't know what that is all about; and I wouldn't believe mainstream media anyway. Typically, if it is what they want to talk about, mainstream media misrepresents and makes mountains out of mole hills, and they never say anything about mountains if they don't want the public to know about it.

However, I just now Googled and it was an private Island so that might not be applicable to what might occur in the states. For example can the public visit the island, what kind of people worked on the island, and is there a child protective services that they could call?

Moreover, I don't know their ages, if it involved one or two underage girls, or if there were dozens or hundreds. Did it involve use of force or were the girls willing participants?
