Recently I had a cracked premolar that became abscessed.
On my initial visit to the dentist my BP was 140/80.
The dentist's assistant said if I had BP over 159/90 they could not legally pull the tooth.
On the day of the extraction my BP was 210/110 and the abscessed tooth could not be pulled.
That's when I discovered that I had developed White Coat Syndrome.
The power of suggestion...very real.
Blood pressure, btw, is subjective.

I have a heart murmur.
When I was at the Med One Clinic the other day, the Nurse Practitioner got one of the nurses from the counter in back and brought her in to listen to it.
The Nurse-Practitioner said the first heart murmur she experienced was very loud. ;)

Just recently, I went to see my primary physician. He gave me a quick mental evaluation about memories.
I told him when we were kids in Chicago in the 60s, there was a crab apple tree in the back yard. A flock of Cedar Waxwings flew in and were devouring the crab apples. That was a great feast for them on their migration.
Then near Lebanon, I saw a Green Heron in a creek near town, and then a Blue Heron in Muddy Creek.
He said, "Name something besides birds."
I replied, "Dogs and cats and "Lions, Tigers and Bears, oh my!"
That got a big grin from him. LOL
