THE MIND BEYOND THE BRAIN

The Christian would suggest that God created man (Adam and Eve) with greater powers than what we have access to today, that these powers were suppressed after the fall to keep mankind from doing greater damage than what we already do. And, that these powers still bubble up to the surface from time to time, to surprise and amaze us. Back in the days when I had an analogue alarm clock, my eyes would open and I'd watch that second hand sweep up precisely to the time I needed to get up. This went on until I got tired of noticing. Still couldn't find my car keys, but hey...
