The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the recent storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israelis, led by far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. This incident, which occurred on the Jewish holiday of Tisha B'Av, involved the desecration of the mosque and the prevention of worshippers' access. The OIC, representing 57 Muslim nations, described the act as a violation of international law and warned against Israel’s policies aimed at altering the Arab and Islamic identity of Jerusalem.
