My buddy, Bob, was going into Carol's Pub in Chicago. He parked across the street and a squad car pulled up with three cops in it.
They hollered for him to come to the car. He asked, "What do you want?" One of the cops asked him, "What are you doing around here?" He replied, "I meet a couple of buddies here for a few beers. Why do you ask?"
One of the cops said, "Someone just shot three niggers on Wilson Ave and we think he came over this way."
Carol's Pub had a lot of Appalachian types that were regulars. ;)
