Dr.Temple Grandin is an amazing person. I attended a lecture she gave at a VA TECH a few years back. She is a very engaging, down ro earth, compassionate, and brilliant speaker. Her mother and her aunt (who had rhe ranch) were invaluable in helping Temple become the woman she is today. I only read her first two books about having autism, that greatly helped me at my job in the mental health field. Best to all!!

There was a movie made of her life, released in 2010. A biopic of Temple Grandin, an autistic woman who has become one of the top scientists in the humane livestock handling industry.
