Russia declares support of Tehran

Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s foreign minister, has warned Israel against launching any attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, labeling such actions as highly provocative. I personally expect that Iran ABSOLUTELY wants nukes to deter Israel from ever striking Iran with them. Since Israel has them, they would be fools to not also want nukes. And yes, they will lie to the international community about that because they know the international community will react with hostility if they do. And Russia will as well, as they are allied with Iran. So long as Iran doesn't use nukes Russia can get away with telling the world Iran doesn't have them.

Israel has never admitted it has nukes, and it's for the same reason.

It's all dangerous. During the cold war, The USSR & USA didn't hide these secrets from each other. In fact, both sides boasted of them, and that helped keep the peace and allowed treaties to be signed.

Israel is more likely to use nukes first, and they have their Samson policy which is, if Israel is ever about to be destroyed, it would nuke cities of all Israel's enemies just out of spite. They do that, an Judaism will forever be known as a danger to civilized life.

Yes, Israel nuking Iran would quite possibly mean Russia nukes Israel. Although on the other hand, Putin has always been very conservative in reacting. Westerners consider him a ruthless tyrant but if he were that, after Nordstream, some underground pipeline in the North American region would have mysteriously popped a hole in it.

But Israel has this mental supremacist attitude that God will protect them as God's Chosen People(TM) and that's what makes them the most dangerous and most likely to use nukes first, more than other countries including Iran. I don't think Iran wants to jeopardize their position as the 19th most populated country on earth over another that is 1/10th of it's population and even less in land held. So yes, I would trust Iran with nukes more than I would trust Israel.

As for Israel's neighbors & conventional warfare, it holds a conventional warfare advantage thanks to US arms of all types, if only in small arms.

Right now, Israel has its back to the wall like never before. Yes, it is viewed favorably by many governments which Israel has always worked to foster via special channels (in the USA its AIPAC) but that's in the process of collapsing and global public opinion is turning against Israel in a strong way. The "holocaust" sympathy card is now spent as they carry on such enormous destruction and killing in not just Gaza but (so far to a lessor extent, though that is not saying anything at all) the West Bank where neither hostages nor Hamas exists. And now Lebanon.

Israel wants more territory. That is clear. "Greater Israel" includes all countries that surround present day Israel.

The Israeli economy is suffering terribly right now and has been over the past year. This is what makes Israel so dangerous as it has nukes and will use them if it feels it has nothing to lose, and it now has significantly less to lose than it did 1 year ago.

If the dollar collapses, that will be very bad for Israel & will escalate things as US support would be harder to maintain.
