According to Ynet, Israeli foreign ministry officials are warning that the legislation being advanced in the Knesset to sever ties with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees puts Israel’s United Nations membership at risk of being suspended for violating the UN Charter.

The bill is scheduled for a final reading on Monday, and is supported by a large majority of Israeli officials.
