When Kamala was elected DA in SF, she dismissed 40 cases against pedophile priests that had been developed by the incumbent DA Vince Hallinan. Kamala took in large donations from Catholic donors who wanted to stop civil lawsuits against the archdiocese that would arise after the conviction of 40 priests in criminal court.
