Agreed. Besides, warfare has changed considerably since then.

Could just be theater.

Battleships became obsolete sometime after the 70s, aircraft carriers are close to being obsolete, little more than saber-rattling expo showpieces.

They are rebuilding old air bases we used in WW II to attack Japan. Iran has posters of their latest missiles with the slogan 4 Minutes to Israel written in Farsi, English and Hebrew.
