The US Dollar cannot suffer one more unwinnable war. There is so much corruption in the US Pentagon that our weapons are very expensive duds. Russia gave Iran their Mach 9 Zircon cruise missile. That missile willow allow Yemen to shut down all Israeli trade by sea and destroy their economy. By contrast, the US Navy's cruise missile is subsonic at Mach 0.7.

When Nixon closed the Gold Exchange window in 1971, he put America on the US Military Standard. If you not sell your oil to US for increasingly worthless paper currency and bonds, we will bomb your country. Now we can't bomb the country of any one who has a 1,000 Km range Mach 9 cruise missile.
