A very big question is how many jurists are voting guilty vs not guilty.

If there's just one holdout for guilty, the prosecution should not retry. But if there's just one holdout for not guilty, they probably will.

By dismissing that charge the jury can now consider the secondary lesser charge and then the state can appeal the dismissal of the first charge and if it's overturned they can retry him on the first charge only. Maybe that's the plan, to salvage this trial as much as possible.

I was wondering about that. Having been in a similar situation 16 years ago, It's pretty clear to me that this is a wrongful prosecution.

This should've never gone to trial. Half of this country has gone insane. Wanna guess which half?
