This is the story of Lt. Kendall Eakes, a B-26 Marauder pilot in the 387th Bomb Group during World War II. This is part 1, and will tell the story of his training and first mission on December 23rd 1944, flying support in the Battle of the Bulge. This was made using the World War II flight simulator War Thunder

I worked with this old guy that was a Cannoneer for Patton. He captured a German Major and the Company Commander took credit for it. He got frostbite on his toes during the Battle of the Bulge but could not collect because he could not prove it happened in the service.

He also would walk into a French bar room with a pistol and say "Aligner voux" or "Line up" and he would rob them all. Then I knew a gut that travelled in Europe, He told me France was the only place they tried to cheat him. I wonder why?
