Democratic voters have shown a high tolerance the past four years for the lies coming out of their leaders' mouths, but after Kamala Harris’ brutal loss to Donald Trump, many of them are starting to distance themselves from the party.

This shockingly includes sports media personalities Stephen A. Smith and Colin Cowherd, who have both claimed to be independent despite having voted for Harris.

“I’m sorry, go ask the Democrats. Be warned, once you detach from regular people in America, you will pay a price,” Cowherd said in a recent clip from his show, “The Herd.”

Jason Whitlock of “Fearless” appreciates the sentiment but believes Cowherd may need to take his own advice.

Rep. Eli Crane Introduces Resolution to Award Congressional Gold Medal to Daniel Penny for Heroism

Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) announced Tuesday he introduced a resolution to award Daniel Penny with the Congressional Gold Medal “for his heroism.”

Penny, a Marine veteran, was found not guilty of criminally negligent homicide in the death of Jordan Neely during a subway altercation last year, a New York City jury found on Monday.

Republicans praised the verdict as justice for a hero who saved lives.

“I’ve formally introduced a resolution to award Daniel Penny with the Congressional Gold Medal for his heroism,” Crane wrote on X.

“Courage should always prevail over moral cowardice. Thankfully, our justice system got it right yesterday,” he added.

A Hong Kong AI model proves more accurate than doctors in diagnosing eye conditions

Researchers at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) said they have developed a foundational artificial intelligence (AI) model that could help address ophthalmic clinical tasks including disease screening and diagnosis, as generative AI plays a greater role in medical research.

VisionFM is a new foundational model that is effective in diagnosing and predicting multiple ophthalmic diseases, which could lead to the adoption of more clinical applications with additional data, they said in a study published last month in the NEJM AI journal.

The model demonstrated performance that is comparable to or better than intermediate-level ophthalmologists in diagnosing 12 ocular diseases, according to the paper. It also outperformed the ophthalmic field’s first foundational model, RETFound, in predicting glaucoma progression, the researchers added.

The development of VisionFM comes as more medical researchers and professionals explore how generative AI can aid the healthcare industry.
