When we started working on Illinois State Highways, my first year our Lead Worker was named Lindwall. He had been a Marine on Iwo Jima. Everyone called him the lunatic.

One day he went into the yard to get cold patch put on his crew cab pick up. The guy come out with the end loader with a scoop of asphalt. He is standing there directing him. One of the guys on the crew was telling the guy in the loader, "Dump it! 'Dump it!" He does and the foremen got hot.

The guy in the loader said to the guy on the ground, "What's he so hot about?" The guy on the ground said, "You'd be hot too if your bottle just got buried." ROTFLMAO!
