Senate Democrats are plotting to delay the confirmations of the rest of President Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees as retaliation for his administration effectively shutting down USAID, according to reports.

Axios reported that Democrats believe obstructing the confirmation process will telegraph a “strong response” to Trump for allowing Elon Musk to restructure the US Agency for International Development on Monday.
