The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has uncovered that approximately $4.7 trillion in U.S. Treasury payments lacked a crucial Treasury Access Symbol (TAS), making these transactions nearly untraceable. This issue has sparked discussions on government transparency and efficiency. The lack of this code was due to it being optional, but steps have been taken to ensure its mandatory use moving forward, enhancing future traceability.

Department of Government Efficiency @DOGE

The Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) is an identification code linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (standard financial process).

In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible. As of Saturday, this is now a required field, increasing insight into where money is actually going. Thanks to @USTreasury for the great work.

Forget the traceability of the payments for a minute.

A) Who was entering these payments to be processed?

B) Who was approving these payments?

C) Who was validating that the authorized, accurate and was it budgeted?

All of that information is logged into the server(s) at the treasury, the NSA, and the ChiComs in real time.

$4.7 Trillion in Untraceable Treasury Payments

Seeing as funds from the FED are unlimited, then what is all the hub bub over $4.7 Trillion?

After all. Rabbi Dov Zackheim absconded with $2.9 Trillion from Pentagon coffers and then fled to Israel. ;)
