(Edit) I just got word that a buddy's dad died a couple days ago from blood clots and stroke, his father was 54. I never met the guy, but I've seen this story before. He suffered at the end.
The funeral is tomorrow at 1800 EST. I sent flowers, but I'm gonna sit this one out.
