A revealing interview with @alihmourad on @Iftiradiya quoting #Soleimani - and a chilling question beneath it all:
🚨 Is the #US 🇺🇸 preparing for war with #Iran 🇮🇷 - or preparing the illusion of a justification for it?
In 2015, when asked When will #US 🇺🇸 wage war on #Iran 🇮🇷? General Qassem #Soleimani replied: When it pulls back its aircraft carriers.
Why?
Because #Iran has built not one, but two naval rings.
The first: swarm tactics and anti-ship missiles in the Persian Gulf. The second: asymmetric naval power in #Yemen 🇾🇪 - the Red Sea front. Together, theyre designed to sink everything that floats under the #US 🇺🇸 flag.
So when #US 🇺🇸 flew B-2 bombers and KC-135 tankers to #DiegoGarcia - a remote island base deep in the Indian Ocean - it wasnt just a repositioning.
It was a revelation. A quiet admission that, in the waters surrounding #Iran 🇮🇷, even supercarriers are vulnerable.
Its what a superpower does when it fears its fleets might not survive the opening hours of war.
It puts Soleimanis answer into devastating perspective.
And it makes one thing clear:
The age of carrier supremacy is over - at least in a war with #Iran 🇮🇷.
But today, something shifted.
Defense Secretary Pete #Hegseth ordered today the #USS Harry S. Truman strike group into the region, reinforcing rather than withdrawing naval assets. Instead of pulling its carriers back, the #US 🇺🇸 is doubling down - sending more warships into a zone engineered by #Iran 🇮🇷 and its allies to be a naval graveyard.
And this is where the analysis deepens.
Because the #Truman, like any carrier, is a strategic asset. But in these waters - boxed in by anti-ship missiles, drones, mines, and swarms - it begins to look less like a deterrent and more like a sitting duck.
This isnt unprecedented.
At #PearlHarbor battleships were left exposed. The result was a pretext for entry into #WorldWar2. False flag theories have long followed other flashpoints - from the Gulf of Tonkin to Operation Northwoods, a declassified CIA proposal to stage attacks on US assets to justify war against #Cuba 🇨🇺.
In that light, we must ask:
What happens if a #US 🇺🇸 carrier is sunk - or claimed to be?
Would it be treated as an act of war by #Iran 🇮🇷, real or not, and used to unleash a massive, pre-justified response?
A casus belli constructed not through diplomacy, but through destruction.
