The new composition widget seems to be working near flawlessly for comments/replies, accepting images as well as vids from YT (including shorts) Bitchute and Rumble.  There are actually about 10 other lessor known media providers that could potentially be added.  That could happen another day, as I don't want to spend any more time on that when other items are pending.  Images as well as videos can be sized pretty much as you want, within limits, all of whic hare reasonable, I'd say.  The method of resizing is a little glitchy but you can muddle through it with little difficulty, I think.  Working on that, even wit AI help was been a 14 steps forward, 13 back, with the forward/backward steps occurring in no particular order, and doing so repeatedly.  So I'll leave that as is right now.

I did do the mail composition page first as its least used, and then worked to port the product into the "postcomment" page, only to end up revising things, so it's likely the mail composition page is in a less than optimal state at the moment.  I'll look at that again later. 

The next step will be the article posting page, rooting out the tinyMCE widget and replacing it with this homegrown version.  I had looked at other 3rd party widgets for that but found none suitable, so just decided that with some AI help I could pull it off.  It was a task but I'm pleased with the result, particularly as my home grown version supports rumble and bitchute vids while this one, for whatever reason does not, at least in it's current configuration and/orl under the limited free use licence. 

Today, since I had the readarticle page on the operating table getting the postings to work, I went ahead and gave it a cosmetic overhaul.  SInce I'm dictator-for-life around here, I gave it a look I think is good.  I increased the font size of comments a bit, duplicated the poster name so it's on both the top and bottom of each comment, reduced some spacing, and framed it a bit to give a bit more definition/contrast between the article and each comment for improved readability.  Title Box on the right has also some better cosmetic functionality, appearing with or without a vert scrollbox depending on the length of the article.  

Maybe in another week I'll have the whole site updated.  Ultimately I'd like to add a dark "moonlight" theme which is my preference with all websites.  Better on the eyes in the long term, I think.  And restoring the original theme made by Christine would be a good addition too, eventually.  Good to keep that as part of the site for nostalgic purposes.
