The US Senate on Thursday approved a $925 billion defense spending bill for fiscal year 2026, extending and boosting Ukraine aid through 2028.

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) passed 77–20 after weeks of delay. The bill had been stalled amid disputes over troop pay during the ongoing government shutdown, triggered by Congress’ failure to approve fiscal year 2026 funding, as well as over President Donald Trump’s use of the National Guard to curb illegal migration and US military operations against alleged drug traffickers in the Caribbean. Lawmakers ultimately advanced the measure after agreeing to several amendments.

House Democrats are ramping up their war against immigration enforcement by taking a page from their far-left supporters and ratting out the location of ICE agents.

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) announced on Tuesday that Democrats on the House Oversight Committee will be launching what he called a “master ICE tracker” to monitor the movements of ICE agents. In other words, a hit list.

“I shared this with the mayor,” Garcia began. “Over the course of the next couple of weeks, the Oversight Committee will be launching on their website a “master ICE tracker.”

The president can send the National Guard into downtown Portland, Oregon, because the city police have protected Antifa attacks on a federal facility, says Harmeet Dhillon, the top civil rights chief in the Department of Justice.

Dhillon made her comment in response to a video showing Antifa rioters hiding behind city police as the rioters aimed strong flashlights at the federal officers guarding the Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility. The police cover protected the Antifa members from the pepper balls normally fired by security officers at the federal building.

‘This is exactly why the 9th Circuit just said POTUS can send in the National Guard!” Dhillon wrote on October 21. “Incredible FAIL!”

An illegal immigrant was given an award by the LA City Council for exposing ICE raids on social media, weeks before he allegedly rammed federal vehicles with his car.

Mexican national Carlitos Ricardo Parias, 44, of South Los Angeles, has been charged with assault on a federal officer after he tried to escape arrest on Tuesday, and one agent responded by shooting him in the elbow.

Parias was hailed as 'a pillar of our community' by LA City Council member Curren Price, who noted that he was recently recognized by the council for his 'unfiltered portrayal of real life' on social media.

After the US-East-1 Amazon Cloud Hub mega crash... a major portion of the internet was rendered temporarily disabled, in one of the largest outages ever recorded. The mistake (and subsequent down time as a result of lackluster precautions) illustrate just how fragile the online world has become, where a few large companies now control a disproportionate amount of traffic and hosting, to a degree where even basic daily necessities can be rendered useless by a single oversight. Hyper consolidation creates single points of failure in a system where failure, is extremely dangerous. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnQXUDIhZHM
