A federal magistrate judge appointed during the Biden administration earlier this week released the anarchist accused of posting a bounty targeting Attorney General Pam Bondi.

The judge, Douglas Micko, allowed Tyler Maxon Avalos to be released from a Minnesota federal prison as long as he does not travel outside the state and undergoes GPS monitoring.

Avalos was arrested on Oct. 16 after allegedly posting a $45,000 bounty on Bondi, alongside an image of her with a target symbol over her head.

The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), the largest union representing federal workers, is calling on Democrats to support a clean Continuing Resolution (CR) and reopen the government, which has remained shut down since October 1.

The AFGE, affiliated with the AFL-CIO, represents more than 800,000 non-postal federal employees across the country, including many based in Washington, D.C.

The union’s leadership released a public statement on Monday urging both parties to set aside political maneuvering and restore government operations immediately.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered the military to “take all necessary measures” against “terrorists” in the occupied West Bank, hours after Tel Aviv assassinated three resistance members near the city of Jenin.

Katz comments and assassinations follow a surge in West Bank resistance activity in response to the continued escalation of Israeli army and settler violence.

The defense minister said Israeli forces “thwarted a serious threat” during an operation carried out early on 28 October in the occupied West Bank.

“Israeli forces will remain present in the Jenin, Tulkarem, and Nour Shams refugee camps to prevent attacks,” Katz said, adding that he “instructed the army to take all necessary measures to eliminate terrorist threats in the West Bank.”

The Israeli military said earlier on Tuesday that it assassinated three “terrorists” from the Jenin refugee camp, in a joint operation with the Shin Bet security service and the Yamam border police unit.

Religion News Service reported on a pastor who was struck in the head with a pepper round fired by a U.S. immigration agent as faith leaders protested the Republican administration’s deportation efforts. United Parcel Service has slashed 48,000 jobs this year — one of the largest single-year reductions by a US company since the pandemic — as the package giant scrambled to contain costs and revive its lagging stock price.

The Atlanta-based delivery behemoth disclosed the reductions Tuesday while reporting third-quarter earnings that beat Wall Street expectations.

UPS said 34,000 of the cuts hit drivers and warehouse operations, while 14,000 targeted management.

A Dallas, Texas, Principal has been removed from her position after Grant Stinchfield obtained an email that exposed the principal at Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas for engaging in what can only be described as discriminatory behavior towards White and Hispanic students.

More than 2,000 people, mainly women and children, have been reportedly executed in the last 48 hours in Sudan after the city of El-Fasher was captured by paramilitaries.

The western Sudanese city fell to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) after more than 18 months of brutal siege warfare, giving the group control over every state capital in the vast Darfur region.

Allies of the army, the Joint Forces, said on Tuesday that the RSF 'committed heinous crimes against innocent civilians in El-Fasher, where more than 2,000 unarmed citizens were executed and killed on October 26 and 27, most of them women, children and the elderly'.
