American Doctor of 40 years explains how Barack Obama allowed insurance companies to steal unlimited amounts of money from taxpayers with the Affordable Care Act
“Where do our health insurance costs go up every year? — The reason is, it was designed that way. There's something called, in the Affordable Care Act, called the medical loss ratio. The medical loss ratio means that insurance companies must spend between 80 to 85% of all premium dollars on medical services. That means they're limited to 15% to 20% for administrative, overhead, and profit. So that means that they play a little game. The higher the top line is, the bigger that number is.
So now all we did was say, "Let's charge more each year." If you look each year, the insurance company's revenues go up every year.
The second thing they did to get around that was they started vertically integrating. What's vertical integration? That's when you start buying companies that are not insurance companies, but in similar businesses.
- So they started buying pharmacy benefit managers, which are middlemen for the drug companies
- They started buying pharmacies, they started buying physician services and physician groups
So why is that important? Well, think about this.
I'm the insurance company, I wanna make it look on paper like I'm making my medical loss ratio, because if I don't, I'm gonna have to pay a rebate.
So what I do is I have my physician over here who's owned, and I overpay him, but he's owned. So when I overpay him, all I'm doing is I'm showing I have an expense here, but it goes back in my other pocket.
Same thing for drugs. I can take a $50 drug, I can pay $200 for it. Now I've just gotten around the medical loss ratio, because somehow the government can't figure out how to trace that dollar beyond the insurance.
So that's how they get around it, and this is why our insurance premiums go up every year, and they're gonna keep going up until we change the system.”

“My insurance was about to make me pay $124, they thought they were gonna make me pay that, $124 for a medication that I've been paying $20 for for at least the past 5 years. And she's gonna tell me that if I don't file through my insurance then it's only gonna be 16 bucks.
How does this make any sense to anyone in this country? It doesn't make sense to anyone else in any other country on this Earth, so how does it make sense to anyone in this country that that's just how it is?”
“We should all just say, "You know what? To hell with it. We're not gonna have health insurance anymore." And then everyone just drop their policies, and then what are they gonna do? What are they gonna do? Because we're just getting screwed. It's, like, all a game. It's all a scam, and nobody will ever convince me otherwise.”

- Average family coverage is $27,000 per year (INSANE)
- Deductibles are $6,000-$12,000 per family member before you can even use it

This is an absolute scam. It’s nothing but the worlds largest money laundering operation from taxpayers into the pocket of insurance companies (for coverage you can’t even use without going bankrupt)

“So I just went down the Affordable Care Act rabbit hole, and I'm genuinely shocked that Americans are not more outraged about this entire thing.
The Affordable Care Act subsidies that the Democrats are requiring to extend in order to reopen our government are subsidies that are paid with taxpayers money
Obama said, "You must use the Affordable Care Plan or pay a fine or get insurance elsewhere. You must have insurance. You must use Obamacare. It will be affordable." And then, it ended up not being affordable at all, so we had to subsidize the cost of it with taxpayer money that is paid directly to insurance companies who are causing the driving up of health care costs in the first place.
This is such a scam and people aren't outraged?
Like, it sounds so noble that the Democrats want people to have affordable health care, but Obama forced people to have affordable health care that wasn't affordable at all so taxpayers have to pay it, but we pay it directly to the private insurance companies that make health care unaffordable.
