IDF claims strikes targeted Hezbollah infrastructure
blogger's note: (don't they always?!?)
A series of strikes were reported against al-Mahmoudiyah and Jezzine, and there were also media reports of a strike near the village of Jarmaq, though no casualties have yet been confirmed.
The IDF claimed the strikes targeted weapons depots and terror infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah, though as usual they provided no evidence this was actually the case. Their statement added that the presence of the purported infrastructure violated the understandings of the ceasefire, ignoring as usual the literal thousands of IDF violations of the same ceasefire.
The Trump administration has reportedly issued a deadline for Lebanon, presenting the country with an ultimatum to disarm Hezbollah fully by the end of 2025 or face an “unavoidable” new war.
This ultimatum is nothing new, and is effectively identical to one presented by Katz just a day prior, as well as statements made by US envoy Tom Barrack since September. The deadline is just as artificial, and just as unachievable as it was then.
(ANOTHER MONTH OF THIS ISRAEL GIBBERISH AND GENOCIDE AND TRUMP WILL HAVE IRRETRIEVABLY DAMAGED HIS PRESIDENCY AND MAYBE AMERICA.)

Venezuela President waves a sword, as he dares Donald Trump to send his military to Venezuelan soil
(America cannot afford to defeat. They have missiles capable of sinking our fleet. They have an Oreshnik which can hit targets in the US. That would destroy the US Dollar, cut wages and benefits by 60% and start nationwide food riots. It would end America as we knew it.)

Amnesty International Says Gaza Genocide Is Not Over
by Dave De Camp, antiwar.com
The group says Israel continues to deliberately inflict conditions of life calculated to bring about the physical destruction of Palestinians in Gaza.
Amnesty International said on Thursday that the Israeli genocide against the Palestinian population of Gaza is not over despite the US-backed ceasefire deal, which Israel has continued to violate.
While the agreement has led to a de-escalation of Israeli attacks and a slight increase in aid entering Gaza, Israeli forces have killed hundreds of Palestinians, and Israel continues to impose restrictions on humanitarian aid and is not allowing reconstruction.
“More than one month after a ceasefire was announced in Gaza on 9 October, Israeli authorities are still committing genocide against Palestinians in the occupied Gaza Strip, by continuing to deliberately inflict conditions of life calculated to bring about their physical destruction,” Amnesty said in a statement..
Amnesty also pointed to the continued displacement of Palestinian civilians in Gaza as they are not allowed to enter the Israeli-occupied side of the Strip, which accounts for 58% of the territory, and are shot and killed if they attempt to cross the “yellow line,” the ambiguous boundary that cuts Gaza in two.

OPEN AI ADMITS DATA BREACH AFTER ANALYTICS PARTNER HIT BY PHISHING ATTACK
OpenAI has suffered a significant data breach after hackers broke into the systems of its analytics partner Mixpanel and successfully stole customer profile information for its API portal, the companies have said in coordinated statements.
Smishing is a form of phishing-by-SMS against targeted employees, popular with hackers because text messages bypass normal enterprise controls. This gave the attackers access to Mixpanel’s system, allowing them to steal a range of metadata relating to platform.openai.com account profiles:

More than half of businesses say the dangers of AI have led to at least one negative consequence.
But which issues plague businesses the most?
This infographic, via Visual Capitalist's Jenna Ross, breaks down the most common risks.

(A law firm lost a lawsuit because their AI made up laws and precedents. AI works cheaper than humans but it is not reliable.)
