Panamanian flag carrier Copa Airlines reported on Saturday that its “flight operations over Venezuelan airspace remain open.”

“Copa Airlines is also in permanent communication with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which has reiterated that it has not changed its official alert level or regulatory position,” said the airline in a statement, recommending “to passengers with flights to and from Caracas keep informed by the official channels” of the company.
