ICE demands state surrender thousands more still behind bars
New York has released almost 7,000 criminal illegal migrants back onto the streets since Donald Trump returned to the White House, without notifying the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement office.
The Department of Homeland Security on Monday revealed to the New York Post that these dangerous offenders - including rapists and killers - were granted bail, parole or simply released back into the community with no warning to the agency.
Now, federal authorities are demanding New York Attorney General Letitia James - who was recently indicted by the Trump administration but had the case tossed out - guarantee that a further 7,113 who remain in custody will be handed over at the end of their sentences.

President Trump invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit the White House in the “near future” during a call on Monday, according to a statement from Netanyahu’s office.
If Netanyahu makes the trip, it would mark his fifth White House visit since Trump came into office for his second term less than one year ago.
Trump has been extremely supportive of the Israeli leader, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for his role in war crimes in Gaza, and has gone as far as formally requesting a “full pardon” for Netanyahu in his corruption case, something that Netanyahu asked for over the weekend.
Israel has continued to violate the Trump-backed Gaza ceasefire deal, killing more than 350 Palestinians since it went into effect.
The call came after President Trump called on Israel to pursue dialogue with Syria after its recent military action in the country, which included a deadly raid that killed 15 people.

The president reportedly told Maduro he must relinquish power during a recent phone call.
President Trump held talks with his top advisers on Monday to discuss Venezuela amid a major US military buildup in the Caribbean and signs that he’s planning to launch attacks on the country, which would be illegal under the Constitution without congressional authorization.
At this point, it’s unclear exactly what was discussed during the talks or whether any decisions were made. The meeting came after Trump confirmed a report that he held a phone call with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, a call that Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who has been leading the push toward war, also joined.
According to a report from the Miami Herald, Trump gave Maduro an ultimatum during the call, telling the Venezuelan leader that the only way he could save himself and his family was if he fled the country, and Maduro rejected his terms.
Maduro has made clear he’s willing to work with the US and reportedly offered significant access to Venezuela’s natural resources, but the Miami Herald report signals the Trump administration won’t be happy with any arrangement that leaves the Venezuelan leader in power.
Maduro’s government has also been cooperating on deportation flights from the US, but they have been suspended since Trump announced the closure of Venezuela’s airspace, a declaration that Caracas said was “a hostile, unilateral, and arbitrary act, incompatible with the most basic principles of International Law.”

Russia is becoming more and more reliant on Chinese drone components to survive.
Now, China’s drone component supplier Wang Dinhua has just purchased a 5 percent stake in Russia’s Rustakt, a top drone manufacturer in Russia.
Rustakt is subject to sanctions imposed by both Ukraine and the European Union, reports Do Rzeczy, citing an article from FInancial TImes.
Samuel Bendett, a drone expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, noted the growing cooperation between the Russian and Chinese military-industrial complexes, as well as Putin’s reliance on Chinese components for Russia’s growing drone needs.
However, this reliance is nothing new.
Another Russian company, Aero-HIT, has also benefitted from this partnership, reportedly producing up to 10,000 drones per month this year.
It also plans to produce more advanced models.
China is generally considered the leading drone component manufacturer in the world, dominating much of the supply chain to the point that many of the components also purchased by the United States also come from China.
Ukraine has also discovered laser sensors manufactured by a South African company in Russian drones attacking its cities.
It remains unclear how products intended for civilian use ended up on the kamikaze drones, the independent Russian-language website The Moscow Times reported on Friday.
Laser rangefinders from several countries, including South Africa, have been detected in long-range drones modified from the Iranian Shahed, according to Vladislav Vasilyuk, a Ukrainian official responsible for sanctions policy.
Industrial lasers from South Africa’s Lightware are small and lightweight, making them suitable for installation in drones.
The supply of military equipment to countries engaged in armed conflict without the consent of the South African government is prohibited, but Lightware is not registered as a trader in ammunition or dual-use products or technologies. (Russia will be making 2 million drones a day. Russia just recently developed new technologies to detect Ukrainian Drone Operators which will shorten the war by months.)
