On March 25, 2020, researchers at the University of Alaska Fairbanks issued the final report of a four-year computer modeling study on the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7.
The 47-story WTC 7 was the third skyscraper to be completely destroyed on September 11, 2001, collapsing rapidly and symmetrically into its footprint at 5:20 PM. Seven years later, investigators at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) concluded that WTC 7 was the first steel-framed high-rise ever to have collapsed solely as a result of normal office fires.
Contrary to the conclusions of NIST, the UAF research team found that the collapse of WTC 7 on 9/11 was caused not by fires but by the near-simultaneous failure of every column in the building.
The UAF research team utilized three approaches for examining the structural response of WTC 7 to the conditions that may have occurred on September 11, 2001. First, we simulated the local structural response to fire loading that may have occurred below Floor 13, where most of the fires in WTC 7 are reported to have occurred. Second, we supplemented our own simulation by examining the collapse initiation hypothesis developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Third, we simulated a number of scenarios within the overall structural system in order to determine what types of local failures and their locations may have caused the total collapse to occur as observed.
The principal conclusion of our study is that fire did not cause the collapse of WTC 7 on 9/11, contrary to the conclusions of NIST and private engineering firms that studied the collapse. The secondary conclusion of our study is that the collapse of WTC 7 was a global failure involving the near-simultaneous failure of every column in the building.

AI industry insider Matt Shumer — who has spent six years building an AI startup — described the moment like realizing the water has been rising around you and is now at your chest.
He watched the new AI build entire software applications autonomously: writing tens of thousands of lines of code, testing the app itself, clicking through it like a developer would, fixing what it didn't like, and presenting the finished product only when it met its own standards.
That was his Monday.
China Already Crossed the Line You Were Told Was Years AwayResearchers from Fudan University in China published a study in December showing that two popular AI models — one from Meta, one from Alibaba — successfully cloned themselves without human assistance.
Across ten trials, one model replicated itself 50% of the time.
The other did it 90% of the time.
The UK's AI Security Institute confirmed the broader trend: success rates on self-replication tests went from 5% to 60% between 2023 and 2025.
The Fudan researchers weren't casual about what this means.
"Successful self-replication under no human assistance is the essential step for AI to outsmart humans," they wrote, "and is an early signal for rogue AIs."
Their worst-case scenario: AI systems that copy themselves across the internet, seize more computing power, and operate entirely outside any human chain of command.
While China raced ahead on every one of these benchmarks, Biden spent four years doing what he did best — nothing.
No AI security framework.
No protection for American workers.
Just four years of open borders, gender ideology in the military, and lecturing you about your gas stove.
The Man Building It Is Warning You HimselfDario Amodei runs Anthropic — the company behind Claude, one of the two AIs that dropped on February 5th.
He's not a fringe voice.
He's a Silicon Valley CEO whose company is writing the very code he's warning you about.
And he's said something no one in the Democrat Party wants to talk about: AI is going to eliminate half of all entry-level white-collar jobs — potentially pushing American unemployment to levels not seen since the Great Depression — within one to five years.
Amodei confirmed AI is now writing "much of the code" at Anthropic itself, that the feedback loop between current AI and next-generation AI is "gathering steam month by month," and that we may be "only 1–2 years away from a point where the current generation of AI autonomously builds the next."
Every smarter generation accelerates the next one.
Researchers call it an intelligence explosion.
The people building it think it's already started.

Joe Biden couldn't tell you what city he was in half the time.
The Democrats who ran Washington while this technology was crossing every red line — the same people who told you they were the "party of science" — had nothing to say about the one technological development that actually threatens your job, your kids' future, and the balance of power between humans and machines.
Trump is the only one who has even gestured toward taking this seriously.
Amodei put it plainly: "It's not on people's radar."
He's the one building it, and he can't get Washington to pay attention.
The question isn't whether this is coming.
The question is whether anyone with power will act before it's too late to do anything about it.
