Iranian authorities allowed a Turkish-owned ship to pass through the Strait ‌of Hormuz on 13 March, amid Tehran's ongoing blockade of the strategic waterway.

Turkish authorities received permission from Tehran for the ship to pass, Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu said on Friday. The minister is in contact ⁠with Iranian officials regarding the situation of the remaining 14 ​Turkish-owned vessels waiting to enter the strait.
