Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark suffered an apparent ankle injury on Thursday night after a flagrant foul in her second preseason game against the Dallas Wings.

Clark was returning from a groin injury that sidelined her for the final 22 regular-season games and the team’s entire playoff run last year. She had opened the contest strongly, scoring 14 points in the first quarter and 19 by halftime while adding assists and a steal.

With 7:51 left in the third quarter, Clark rose for a three-point attempt and landed awkwardly when Wings forward Alanna Smith extended her foot into the landing zone. Officials reviewed the contact and assessed Smith a flagrant-1 foul.

Clark immediately began limping but remained on the floor long enough to shoot her free throws before heading to the bench for medical evaluation. She did not return for the rest of the game.

Fever personnel checked her on the sideline, though the team has not yet released an official update on her status. However, Clark has downplayed the injury.

“I feel good. I just landed on my kneecap really hard,” she said, via ESPN. “I know there’s a committee of people that really wanted them [the refs] to start calling things, and I thought they did a great job of that. Honestly, I thought the refs were great, and it’s preseason, so you’re probably going to see more fouls called. I expect that number to drop. But I think overall, it’s going to improve the product.”

Clark has frequently drawn physical defense and hard fouls throughout her professional career.

New Hampshire House Bill 1448, currently under consideration, would outlaw the outsourcing of state curriculum to the WEF.

“This bill aims to prohibit the inclusion of any materials created or provided by the World Economic Forum in the curriculum of New Hampshire public schools. It amends RSA 193-E:2-a, V(a) to include new language stating that the curriculum “shall be prohibited from including any lectures, lesson plans, and other educational materials provided or created by the World Economic Forum.” This addition emphasizes the restriction on using such materials in educational settings, while maintaining the responsibility of local educators to develop and implement their own curriculum.

Additionally, the bill introduces a new paragraph to RSA 186:11, explicitly stating that all public schools are prohibited from including any World Economic Forum materials in their curriculum. This reinforces the intent of the legislation to ensure that educational content in New Hampshire public schools remains free from the influence of the World Economic Forum.”

It was in response to the controversy over HB 1448 that Debrah Howes, American Federation of Teachers union boss for the New Hampshire chapter — who is probably also a lesbian by the looks of it, the scent of menopause wafting through the air, palpable even through video — waddled to the speaker’s chair with great difficulty to explain in characteristically passive-aggressive tone to the New Hampshire Senate Education Committee that, yes, American Federation of Teachers (her boss Randi Weingarten’s union) is, in fact, currently inserting WEF curricula into the schools it controls and that’s a great thing because Blackrock CEO and WEF boss Larry Fink love the children of the serf class and just want them to succeed:

“I was not intending to speak to this but after the last comment I think I want to expand a little bit. My name is Debrah Howes, president of the American Federation of Teachers-New Hampshire. Eight out of ten AI chatbots have been found to actively assist users in planning violent attacks, according to a new investigation by CNN and the Center for Countering Digital Hate.

As Statista's Anna Fleck reports, when asked to plan violent attacks including a school shooting, an antisemitic bombing and a political assassination, platforms such as Perplexity, Meta AI and DeepSeek regularly assisted users in finding answers.

Only one, Anthropic’s Claude, repeatedly discouraged users from taking action.

Researchers tested ten chatbots by acting as a user planning to carry out several types of violent attacks both in the United States and in Ireland, providing a European comparison.

The tests were designed to reflect plans for school shootings or knife attacks, assassinations targeting politicians or bombings targeting political parties or synagogues.

In over half of the responses for eight of the chatbots, the subjects were provided with advice on locations to target and weapons to use in an attack.

Snapchat’s My AI and Anthropic’s Claude refused to offer help in 54 percent and 68 percent of cases, respectively. Claude was also the only chatbot to consistently recognize the intentions of the user and to discourage them from acting. Meanwhile, Character.AI actively encouraged violence, including suggesting that the test user “use a gun” on a health insurance CEO and physically assault a politician that the user dislikes.
