This is the moment a gang of masked teenagers attacked each other with machetes in a south London park.
The shocking violence unfolded at Burgess Park in Camberwell yesterday lunchtime, with the thugs seen trying to stab and slash one another in broad daylight.
The scene is yet another display of shocking violence in London, despite Sir Sadiq Khan repeatedly insisting the city as 'safe'.
Earlier this year, the Mayor of London leapt on new statistics showing homicides at the lowest level on record to boast about his record on policing.
However, a closer look at the data reveals a range of other crimes, including violent assaults, have dramatically increased since he came to power in 2016.
Reports of violence against the person have soared by nearly a third between 2016/17 and 2025/26 to hit 242,777 in total.
Theft from the person has increased by 140 per cent over the same period while sexual and drug offences are up by 55 per cent and 34 per cent consecutively.
Yesterday's footage shows four armed men fighting as an onlooker shouts 'stab him'.
One of the men holds one of his rivals on the ground as his associate rushes in and starts trying to knife him.
Bystanders are heard shouting at the thugs to stop and they eventually run away.

SpaceX IPO drops with just 4 percent public float after Nasdaq scraps the old 10 percent rule
New rules from Nasdaq remove the 10% minimum requirement.
Under the old rules, a new stock had to season for at least 3 months before it could join the index, and it had to have at least 10% of its shares traded publicly. Both of those requirements are now gone. Now, a stock is eligible for fast-track inclusion after just 15 trading days, with almost no float if its market capitalization places it among the top 40 holdings of the Nasdaq-100.
There are reports that Musk is asking underwriters to waive the typical 180-day lock-up period that prevents company insiders and some other shareholders from selling their shares after an IPO.
According to Semafor, Musk is pushing for a much shorter lock-up, or even none at all, with insiders able to sell in gradual tranches tied to price and trading-volume thresholds.
That would do away with rules designed to prevent insiders from cashing out at peak hype, which are standard protections for new public shareholders.
In practice, this means insiders get to cash out at what will probably be a record valuation for the company right when retail investors get their first opportunity to buy in.
Musk is also apparently negotiating an above-average level of retail participation in the offering, directing 20% to 30% of the IPO to individual investors, compared to the more typical 5% to 10%. Allowing insiders to exit quickly to retail buyers raises eyebrows about who benefits from these underwriting changes.

Elon Musk court loss to OpenAI gets dismissed on technical timing grounds
A California jury on Monday found OpenAI co-founders CEO Sam Altman and president Greg Brockman not liable for having allegedly unjustly enriched themselves by turning the once nonprofit company into a for-profit business.
Tesla CEO and fellow co-founder Elon Musk initially sued the pair, as well as OpenAI and Microsoft, one of the company’s biggest backers, claiming he had donated money to the startup to help get it off the ground with the understanding that it would remain a nonprofit.
Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said she accepts the jury’s verdict, confirming Musk’s loss.
