Ted Postol is one of the world's foremost experts on missile defense. He said that contrary to the Pentagon's claimed 90% interception rate that the real interception rate by the US Patriot III and THAAD defense sytems is actually 4% at most. In the Gulf War of 1991 the generals told President Bush and Dick Cheney that 96% of incoming Iraqi SCUD missiles were shot down by the Patriot II. The Israeli Minister of Defense Moshe Arens told Bush and Cheney that the interception rate was closer to zero. The US system in 1991 according to Postol was actually zero if you look at the raw data and decline to accept interpretations from paid staff.
The current claimed 90% interception rate is based upon slide shows provided by military contractors. Ted Postol recently talked in Warsaw to a conference that included US military air defense officers who agreed with him. They said nobody in the Pentagon is using raw data, just slide shows from defense contractors.
Ted made an even more alarming analysis when asked to compare the US THAAD and Patriot III to Russia's S-400. The US system is designed to hit every incoming drone and missile with $4 million missiles. The Russian system is distributed and selects from all available missiles which includes the Pantsir which is 10% of the cost of the Patriot. The Pantsir has twin autocannons which enables it to take down some drones even more cheaply than that.
It makes no sense to fire $4 million missiles at incoming $30,000 drones. The US is trying to pass a $1.5 trillion Department of War budget which does not include it's current $622 billion military spending from 6 other agencies bringing total US military spending to more than $2.1 trillion. In May of 2026 the US spent two dollars for every dollar in revenue. The US spends $1.3 trillion a year in interest payments on its debt. These expenditures are not sustainable.
In point of fact, I see no ourcome other than bankruptcy in America's very near future.
If anyone cared about the defense of America, at least one person in the Pentagon or in the House or the Senate would have taken Ted Postol at his word and asked him to outline how he would better defend American military personnel for a fraction of what we are currently spending. As I said, we are headed to bankruptcy and will no longer be able to defend ourselves at all.
In fact, as I have said repeatedly elsewhere, our greatest threat is Starvation and Starvation Induced Violence (SSIV.) It is entirely possible that 30 million Americans die from SSIV and another 30 million die from mRNA induced plagues within the next decade. If there is no mass plague, then the death of 60 million Americans from SSIV could mean that Mark Zuckerberg might not survive in his $270 million bunker in Kauai, Hawaii.
To understand the modern American government you must first accept the concept that the purpose of the US government is to transfer all wealth from the taxpayers to those who own it.
Catherine Austin Fitts was Housing Commisioner back during Bush I, when the Pentagon boasted of 90% interception rates which were actually 0.0%. She found one city block in San Diego that had $20 million in defaulted Housing and Urban Development (HUD) loans for buildings that did not even exist. She wanted to reform her department but was constantly nagged by a HUD employee who repeatedly said, "But we have to make money for our donors."
HUD was founded in 1965 but did incorporate the Federal Housing Administration which had been created in 1934. HUD has always destroyed more housing for working people than it ever created. Their current budget is $77.3 billion. Yet it reduces housing supply for the poor. 48 million workers (34%) are paid less than $20 per hour, which equates to roughly $41,600 annually for full-time employment. If we abolished HUD, we could give every one of those poorest people in America more than $1,600 each while potentially lowering their rent.
On 9-11-2001, controlled demolitions took down World Trade Center Towers 1, 2 and 7. In response the US government decided to spend $8 trillion killing Israel's neighbors which it called a "War on Terror."
Catherine Austin Fitts was run out of Washington DC because she was honest and willing to speak out. She has since estimated that $50 trillion had been stolen from US taxpayers.
The term Deep State was popularized and adapted by Mike Lofgren, a former Republican congressional staff member, who used it in a 2014 essay and later in his 2016 book The Deep State: The Fall of the Constitution and the Rise of a Shadow Government. Lofgren defined it as a hybrid association of government elements and top-level finance and industry that governs without full reference to the consent of the governed.
The term Deep State refers to the permanent civil service in the US which has been captured by donors and does not pay attention to the wishes of the citizens.
There is another even more secretive and powerful element running our affairs. I call them the Powers That Ought Not To Be. Catherine Austin Fitts said if you ever want to find the tens of trillions stolen from us just audit the New York Federal Reserve Bank. I would also recommend that we audit the Federal Reserve Discount Window which allows bankers to sell fraudulent securities to the US for 100 cents on the dollar so they can avoid jail for having committed trillions in securities fraud.
David Rothkopf wrote Superclass in 2008. In it, he says the West is run by 30 Families and their 6,000 Minions. Rothkopf was the CEO of Kissinger and Associates.
Much has been said of the Great Reset. My opinion is that it will be attempted very soon. It is an intentional transfer of everything we owned to the 30 Families, their 6,000 Minions and friends. They will use Hyperinflation to take away everything we had.
