Video input field is expecting the URL of the X posting.  After you submit that, a popup will ask if you want to post the full content of the X post, or just the video.   This is exactly what X does as well when you want to share a posting.  But no "Embed" code is expected.  Just the web address of the post, which is easier to get and manage.
