Haven't posted here in a while, so nice to see Freedom4um's better-than-Twitter interface is still getting traffic.

I'm creating a long form hard-sci-fi "TV" series some of you may enjoy.   What do you like and not like in the trailer?

I was thinking of making educational videos using AI. Tell us how you will proceed.

Welcome....  Glad you could sign in with no apparent issues.

YT started telling me to sign in to prove I'm not a bot.  Any chance you can put it on Rumble or BitChute?

YT has been going the Deep State route of late so maybe I'll get a log in with them but it's preferred not to.

Hey Ridley, good to see you again.

Myself, I think the concept is interesting. Can't wait to see the finished product.

It's a thought provoking trailer.  Very good mix of video and sound track.  It doesn't give away much at all, though perhaps that's intentional.

Go for it!  I'll check it out.  Artistry should be rewarded.  I hope it's popular but do it even if it's not.

Thanks for the nice responses guys!   Yes, its on bitchute and odyssey....the latter is usually the most accessible, censorship resistant and ad free...  so here is the odyssey version:

So.... in answer to your question Horse... AI seems to be more useful for fictional vids than educational vids.  Have you noticed how video services appear to be swamped with AI generated "documentaries"  where most of the imagery is fake?   for example, the various "videos" about German POW's in the U.S.  during WW2.... which never seem to show any actual photos or videos of POW's?     A good educational video using AI, would need to seriously improve on that in some way, but I'm not sure exactly how.   I guess a good start would be to avoid the cliche AI technique of spewing closed captions into the middle of the screen.  Do you have anything you've already produced that you could share with us for feedback?

What changes does exceptionsl research. The man is a Hindu analyst but prefers to use an Ai with an American female persona.

I like the final result.

odysee... I'll have to ad them to the embed support, if they offer that.

Horse in answer to your question about how Legends of the Free State will proceed...  the next step will likely not be a new trailer but rather an early release of Season 1 Episode 1....just the first few minutes.

Early 2026 technology was advanced enough to produce the Legends trailer inexpensively, with a lot of human effort.

But it will probably be late 2026 or so before video generators can deliver even a brief preview of Episode 1 on my budget.    If you liked those images of the  O'Neill space colony, then you'll like what you see next.    And as the tech continues to advance, that should enable a full 45 minute Episode 1, followed by more and more episodes, easier and easier to produce... until hopefully we're in Galactica territory with many seasons and better respect for physics.  The public needs long form accurate sci fi!
