going to cover two outlets at least, have to have an outlet no more than 12 feet from the next thus the practice of placing out lets in the center of the walls in a 12x12 room. I don't watch TV and it's getting to the point I set the radio volume to off.

there is something wrong with any product that requires constant hawking

My grandson asked me, "Where does poo come from?

I was a little uncomfortable but gave him an honest explanation. He looked a little perplexed, stared at me in stunned silence for a few seconds then said...

"And Tigger?"

My TeeVee only gets tuned to the local WX channel.
The only room of my house big enough for that is the outside.

I could use it for a garage door, I suppose.
It looks to be about 16 x 7.
I might be able to get it home by setting it on top of Rainman's 6 x 10 dump trailer like a tabletop.

I've been using one since the 1980s, but I sure as hell didn't pay $149.95 +$14.95 s/h for it.

My buddy Skillethead with Raytheon belonged to a catalog mail order club. I think it was around $40 to $50.

Probably saved me a million bux over the years. It was fun staring at Gina's cleavage every couple of weeks, but she wasn't very good at cutting hair.

She was like a moped, fun to ride, but you wouldn't want your friends to catch you doing it.

Still available at Flowbee.com for $169.95.

I suppose I should hunt around for an old hoodie while I'm piddling around today.

It's gonna be about 70 when my company gets here tonight but about freezing when she leaves Monday morning.

I should've reminded her to bring back the other ones she took when I talked to her last night, but I forgot.

I sent her a text today, but she probably won't be going home before she comes tonight.

Generation Jones. 1954-1965:

Never got to enjoy the perks of being a Boomer.

1964 0-10 yrs old. Beatles, JFK, MLK.

1964-67 0-13 yrs old Race riots.

1969 4-15 yrs old Woodstock. Moon Landing, Boomers 21 yrs old. youngest 16.

1970 5-16 yrs old Beatles end Disco begins.

1973 8-19 heading to Vietnam still.

1975 10-21 Vietnam ends Boomer 30 yrs old.

1976 11-22 PLO terrorizes Olympics, Carter elected.

1977 12-23 Elvis dies, Star Wars, TRS 80 computer.

1978 13-24 Iran revolution, Jonestown suicides.

1979 14-25 Iranian hostages, USSR invades Afghanistan, 3 Mile Island.

1980 15-26 Recession, 15% inflation, Mt St Helens, Olympic boycott, Reagan elected. Iran Hostage rescue fails, John Lennon killed.

By 1980 the oldest boomer was 35 years old and well on his way to securing their financial future while the 26 year old was facing 20% mortgage rates and record unemployment.

Personal history:

1976 Spent my 15th birthday and day after at my father's funeral.

1978 Blizzard of '78. Snow was drifted above the garage doors of my mother's house. I could walk onto the neighbor's roof on a drift. Met and dated Dr. Kimmy until 1980.

1979-1980 No jobs, I borrowed money at 10% from my mother (half the going rate) to build my house myself. I still live there. 1980 Chevy Z-28 sticker price, $8,000.

1980-1995 All expenses-paid World Tour with The Company. Saw the Beirut Marine BLT bombing (23Oct1983), fall of the Berlin Wall (1979?) and fall of the USSR a couple years later (Late-1991, I think).

There's no way in hell me and Kim (1961 and 1964) could be considered 'Boomers'.

"Personal history:"

An interesting history to talk about would be Dr. Kimmy's, during Covid-19.
Our time is so short on weekends when we get together, we don't talk shop. She doesn't bring it up.
My Dad NEVER talked about his time during WWII in the Philippines, either. Ever.

I had what was probably C-c-c-corona-N-n-n-nineteen in Dec 2019 or Jan 2020 before they knew what it was. I took extra C, D, zinc and Ny-Quil. I survived somehow because I've had bad colds before and didn't go to MDs to be killed, like Bob Wagner, the former owner of my tax firm.

Kroger started mandating masks back then. I always carried a pack of el-cheapo Harbor Freight dust masks in my Red Truck. Sling Blade has it now.

Saw some high & tight young man, probably a former Marine, taken down by the FWPD for not having a mask on.

I regret not slipping one of my Company cards in his pocket as a witness for the lawsuit.

I'm getting too olde to take on out of control cops. Especially since I carry a firearm, blade, pepper spray, etc.

I don't know anybody personally that died of Covi. Marla told me about one old gal in her 90s that did.
Everybody i knew died from the shots and the Remdesivir protocols, like Bob.

I hope Kim is in the mood for tacos. That's what's on the board-of-fare for tonight.
I WANT TACOS. There's plenty of frozen crap in the freezer if she wants to have a Slavic standoff.
If she wants a spotless potty, she can go downstairs.

Nobody's gonna be held accountable for jack-shit.

They're saying it's suppose to be 24 when Doc bails Monday at Zero-Dark-Hundred, it's shirtsleeve weather now.

I disconnected the battery conditioner on my Tacoma and fired it up. I'll cycle the systems to get them exercised.

I wish it didn't have that stupid rollover device in the filler neck so I could cycle the gas out into the clown car. I need to see Chip about that.

The A/C in the Tacoma 134a system made 49 degrees idling with almost no airflow in the garage.
That's probably pretty good for a 2013 system that's never been fucked with.
It should do 40 on the road, that's about the best you can get out of a 134a system.
R-12 will get you closer to 35 without freezing up the evaporator coil.

I never wore a suit except for Pam's (and other's) 25th year ceremony at some fancy-pants place.

It was a black, double-breasted JC Penney special, Punk picked it out. I think it's still up in my ex-wife's closet.

It was a fancy affair. A big deal. Anything for Punk...

"Pinochet Helicopter Tour"

I'm sure Pam would still be killing people, much to your delight, but she was retired in 2008, I'm told.
Your new murderous MD girlfriend is here upstairs in the shower.

Maybe you can finalize the plans for Doc and her sister in Carbondale to have their visit/orgy with you.
Kim won't even let me see Beth's picture.
She was smokin' hotin the late 70s, she must still be.

Beth had a crush on me when she was 13.

Dax I do think you're a witty guy but a threesome with my sister is unlikely. One crazy Jim is enough.

My Jim is a nice guy but I think his imagination runs away sometimes.
He said his sister wants to meet me again. I don't remember the first time to be honest.

Pac's place is a safe space for me even if it's in a hellhole with his nutty neighbor and illegal aliens.

Pac has a fancy framed cell of Bugs Bunny that his wife bought from a gallery in Miami.

He says it was $600 in the 1980s. He showed me the certificate of authenticity.

I wonder what it's worth now. Jim would never spend that kind of money on himself.

If you pull the electric meter out of the 'meter base' the power is OFF.
Another shutoff switch is just another power loss.

I was pumping gas when the oil embargo came to town, we always had gas just at a higher price. went off and learned a trade (welding) never got a day to day job as one, did a lot in the navy and still do it as needed now. the masks are way better for some time  lots lighter than the fiber glass units with their 2x4 viewing window. I have auto tinters that are 15 or more years old that still work from harbor freight and that's all the farthest I'm going down that path for now. you get the blurry indistinct vague impressions, I see the vivid details the sounds, the smells.

My cheapo auto welding hood flaked out. I still have a big one (large view) helmet.
I haven't used my MIG welder or plasma cutter for years.

I had big plans before I got killed a poor woman.
The work truck I built, 2013 Toyota Tacoma while my mother was dying has 11,168 miles on it.

The best laid plans of mice and men... Eh, I suppose I'm worth a couple, three million bux. At best.
Kimmy is telling me to shut up. I'm talking too much.

She liked her tacos tonight. That was a big win for me.
We got a lot of business taken care of by 2200 tonight.

I hope Kimmy doesn't die in my house.
The Clown Car and it's big doors can get her in and out if I have to.

Doc knows that Biden's forced clot shots are gonna kill her. She's leaving me a ten million dollar estate to do the 'right thing'.

Well, a trust will be set up for Chris and his boy, same for Sling Blade and his little girl.

I should've died many times before. Now people are leaning on me too much...

I'm not sure why cute gals like me, but I'm rolling with it

My tax-babe, Christa, treats me better than her children.
The pretty kerosene lamps lamps that I bought for my mother still work.
