going to cover two outlets at least, have to have an outlet no more than 12 feet from the next thus the practice of placing out lets in the center of the walls in a 12x12 room. I don't watch TV and it's getting to the point I set the radio volume to off.
there is something wrong with any product that requires constant hawking
I was a little uncomfortable but gave him an honest explanation. He looked a little perplexed, stared at me in stunned silence for a few seconds then said...
Generation Jones and proud of it! Not a boomer at all. We are a small niche group that packed a lot of life into our generation π pic.twitter.com/JASs6OXLN7
1980 15-26 Recession, 15% inflation, Mt St Helens, Olympic boycott, Reagan elected. Iran Hostage rescue fails, John Lennon killed.
By 1980 the oldest boomer was 35 years old and well on his way to securing their financial future while the 26 year old was facing 20% mortgage rates and record unemployment.
Personal history:
1976 Spent my 15th birthday and day after at my father's funeral.
1978 Blizzard of '78. Snow was drifted above the garage doors of my mother's house. I could walk onto the neighbor's roof on a drift. Met and dated Dr. Kimmy until 1980.
1979-1980 No jobs, I borrowed money at 10% from my mother (half the going rate) to build my house myself. I still live there. 1980 Chevy Z-28 sticker price, $8,000.
1980-1995 All expenses-paid World Tour with The Company. Saw the Beirut Marine BLT bombing (23Oct1983), fall of the Berlin Wall (1979?) and fall of the USSR a couple years later (Late-1991, I think).
There's no way in hell me and Kim (1961 and 1964) could be considered 'Boomers'.
An interesting history to talk about would be Dr. Kimmy's, during Covid-19.
Our time is so short on weekends when we get together, we don't talk shop. She doesn't bring it up.
My Dad NEVER talked about his time during WWII in the Philippines, either. Ever.
I had what was probably C-c-c-corona-N-n-n-nineteen in Dec 2019 or Jan 2020 before they knew what it was. I took extra C, D, zinc and Ny-Quil. I survived somehow because I've had bad colds before and didn't go to MDs to be killed, like Bob Wagner, the former owner of my tax firm.
Kroger started mandating masks back then. I always carried a pack of el-cheapo Harbor Freight dust masks in my Red Truck. Sling Blade has it now.
Saw some high & tight young man, probably a former Marine, taken down by the FWPD for not having a mask on.
I regret not slipping one of my Company cards in his pocket as a witness for the lawsuit.
I'm getting too olde to take on out of control cops. Especially since I carry a firearm, blade, pepper spray, etc.
If you pull the electric meter out of the 'meter base' the power is OFF.
Another shutoff switch is just another power loss.
Homeowners in this township weβre notified that they had to install a disconnect for their] electric meter base at a cost of $2500 so in the event of a fire the firefighters could simply throw the disconnect and cut power to the dwelling.
I was pumping gas when the oil embargo came to town, we always had gas just at a higher price. went off and learned a trade (welding) never got a day to day job as one, did a lot in the navy and still do it as needed now. the masks are way better for some time lots lighter than the fiber glass units with their 2x4 viewing window. I have auto tinters that are 15 or more years old that still work from harbor freight and that's all the farthest I'm going down that path for now. you get the blurry indistinct vague impressions, I see the vivid details the sounds, the smells.

She looks like Down's Syndrome...
I've been using one since the 1980s, but I sure as hell didn't pay $149.95 +$14.95 s/h for it.
My buddy Skillethead with Raytheon belonged to a catalog mail order club. I think it was around $40 to $50.
Probably saved me a million bux over the years. It was fun staring at Gina's cleavage every couple of weeks, but she wasn't very good at cutting hair.
She was like a moped, fun to ride, but you wouldn't want your friends to catch you doing it.
Still available at Flowbee.com for $169.95.

I suppose I should hunt around for an old hoodie while I'm piddling around today.
It's gonna be about 70 when my company gets here tonight but about freezing when she leaves Monday morning.
I should've reminded her to bring back the other ones she took when I talked to her last night, but I forgot.
I sent her a text today, but she probably won't be going home before she comes tonight.

They're saying it's suppose to be 24 when Doc bails Monday at Zero-Dark-Hundred, it's shirtsleeve weather now.
I disconnected the battery conditioner on my Tacoma and fired it up. I'll cycle the systems to get them exercised.
I wish it didn't have that stupid rollover device in the filler neck so I could cycle the gas out into the clown car. I need to see Chip about that.

I never wore a suit except for Pam's (and other's) 25th year ceremony at some fancy-pants place.
It was a black, double-breasted JC Penney special, Punk picked it out. I think it's still up in my ex-wife's closet.

Pac has a fancy framed cell of Bugs Bunny that his wife bought from a gallery in Miami.
He says it was $600 in the 1980s. He showed me the certificate of authenticity.
I wonder what it's worth now. Jim would never spend that kind of money on himself.

Well, a trust will be set up for Chris and his boy, same for Sling Blade and his little girl.
