Trump has lied about the war in probably a majority of his statements and Truth Social posts made since it started.  MSM news reports claim the pilot/crew member was rescued, but no other source or info, such as the person's identity has been released to substantiate the claim.  It could be a ruse to get the Iranians to stop searching for him to make location and extraction easier, though that could come at the small risk of Iran still capturing him and giving Iran some propaganda type win by proving Trump lied.

This is war, and truth is the first casualty.  Can't trust anyone on either side, though it seems the Iranians have lied less so far.
