I ended up shipping the package by UPS in much faster way. FedEx never even offered a refund or an apology.

You are right. Screw them. No excuse for shoddy service.
I shipped a couple of cell phones to Malaysia for a friend. The Fed Ex shipping place even had a larger box I could put the two smaller boxes in. The freight was pre-paid. It only cost me $2.25 to print paperwork and $3 for extra stop in taxi. Not too shabby. And they got the package in three days.
Not sure how or why your shipment got screwed up. Maybe you need to take it up with corporate. ;)

I tried, they were about as stupid and rude as the other clowns I spoke with.

That could have something to do with why the Fed Ex shipping office here on the square is now closed. I guess they did not do enough business to stay open. They sold shoes there too. I tried once to get a pair there and they did not have my size. Plus there is a Red Wing Boots store right up the street. So fare thee well. ;)
